In the past few weeks, I’ve been thinking back on this second year of marriage. Man, what a year it’s been.

Donations benefit pediatric cancer research, which is close to my heart after losing my friend Hope to cancer in middle school. Cancer has hit close to home multiple times in my life– but it is particularly heartbreaking to watch a child suffer from this disease, while knowing the lack of funding is such a problem.
If you cannot donate financially, I would appreciate your prayers during the training process!

Last week, I hosted a NoonDay Collection jewelry party at Mom’s house. We both invited friends and I whipped up a few goodies for everyone to enjoy. (If you like sangria, cheesecake-filled strawberries, gluten free cookies, or peanut butter dip, you should try these recipes. They were a hit!)
Back in May, I knew I wanted to take the week off for our beautiful trip to the Bahamas, and that got me off track in the blogging world. The end of the semester hit like a ton of bricks with more to do than I could ever imagine possible, but summer is officially in full swing and I am so grateful for a teensy bit of downtime.
